Okay, so dedi is being beta tested, and you have to be on beta branch to join them.

We know the issue with this. Normal can’t join beta condos, beta can’t join normal condos.

You can switch between branches, but honestly it’s kind of a pain in the ass. Why not have beta install alongside normal if you opt into it, and either have it as a second steam entry in our game list, or a launch option in the menu that asks which directx version we want?

Also, the dedi testing is going to split the base a bit, so I’d test quickly and get that to main.

This is a temporary thing, that’s why it’s a public beta.

You cannot have the beta install as a separate game on Steam, unfortunately, but I know our developers would love that feature as well but that’s up to Valve to make that change.

You also can’t have it as a separate launch option.

The dedicated servers being in the public beta is just for now and this beta is not going to last very long.
