Public instrument / band stage?

This is a little odd for a nightclub, but it would be cool to have a section of the club where you and your friends can perform using playable instruments. It would be totally awesome to watch people play, and gives tons of non-unit incentive to learn to play an instrument, maybe have some kind of reward other players can give your band for playing well.

The big downsides to doing this are 1, limited use since I’m guessing most people won’t bother learning and performing. And 2, having to restructure or otherwise alter the nightclub layout to fit it in a logical way

Perhaps a basement tavern with something like open-mic nights, where you could either express your talent on stage with a comedic performance (or anything similar such as singing or just talking) or by performing on instruments (especially fun if there is MIDI support!).

Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata first movement but played with wowozelas.

Idea for rewarding players for “performing”: There’s a tip jar on a bar/tables or in front of the stage. Whoever is on the stage gets the tip jar money.
There’s a delay after tipping and/or a handling fee to the house.

I really love this idea, but it’d be nice if the tips were pretty small and you could only give one to each player, since we’d want to avoid any major unit transferring. Handling fee and a delay would help for sure.

In the case of “bands” (Multiple performers on the stage), the tip should probably be split amongst them with a max of 3 or an option to tip all players
