Using Forward and Backward key on the hand that steers directions (especially when we have drift available) is quite awkward.
It would make sense for casual driving in Plazas maybe, but for racing games it can be a bit disorienting.
It’s like having UP key as jump in 2D platformers.
I’d like to see separate keybind available for acceleratting, breaks, item uses and drift as well as options to play the game entirely on keyboard.
Bruh, I think they’ve used all the normal keyboard keys for gaming. Are you wanting to have separate options in the key binding menu or are you wanting them to change that they’re tied to the movement keys?
I agree. In fact, I think most game worlds should have separate controls settings that one can change to their liking - Well, ones that utilise controller/keyboard at least, since I don’t know if that would work for, say, minigolf.
