I have taken quite a bit in planning out my first playermodel in Tower Unite, only to be greeted with it looking quite messy after export. Let me explain:
While I was making this in Blender, my fish dude looks completely fine in the viewport, even looking well enough during pose mode that I was convinced it was going to look fine in-game.
After exporting it to .dae format, and ensuring the proper texture paths were present, I was greeted with this:
Completely messed up vertices in the top half of his body, and occasional z-fighting around his eye area due to his face not being made to be rigged yet (i wanted to see if i could just make it static)
I’m not quite sure what I did wrong. Yes, I did apply transformations, rotations, and scale, but by my own findings, it seems there might be a bug with the IK system from what the log says.
The auto normalization system may have been the culprit behind the unusually jagged appearance, but I also fear his coat design may have messed up the weight painting a bit, despite it looking good enough during rigging. Any feedback on this would be much appreciated.
