When I join a player’s game mid-game my workshop model doesn’t load and I have to race with the default player avatar.

This issue happened again in the recent version of Tower Unite. It happened only once but it was still noticeable.

Vouch. The playermodels don’t seem to load if you join mid-race, but they do once you reach the podium screen. There are other odd behaviors when joining mid-race, but they don’t happen all the time, so it’s hard to pinpoint what could be the cause.
Exhibit A: My playermodel defaults to the game’s male model, but loads properly once the race is over. It also loads my fishing line accessory, only to unload it after a few seconds. Other behaviors include some profile pictures not loading in the minimap, as well as the timer counting in reverse until crossing the finish line in the first lap.
Exhibit B: With the same playermodel on, my PM instead defaults to the female model with seemingly corrupted hair, although the fishing line does not unload this time around. The timer and profile pictures also have all loaded in properly.
