As most of the Canadians and English folks (and others) here know, tomorrow is remembrance day. All month so far people have been wearing poppies as a sign of respect for war veterans. So why not have our in game avatars be able to do the same. (not just poppies, keep reading)
So the main idea. All of the pins are free for people to wear as they please. Multiple pins can be put on at any given time, the devs can allow as many as they see fit. They would go above the heart on the left hand side of the chest, they would just shuffle over and form layers depending on how many are allowed. As said before the pins are free, it would encourage people to wear them. Each pins description would have a little blurb talking about why it is important and what it is symbolizing.
Now for the pins, I’m going over some big ones (that I can think of right now) If you have any you would like to add please put them below. Also if I forgot any, sorry, just add them in the comments.
Cancer ribbon
Poppies
Gay pride
Red cross
WWF
UNICEF
Red nose day (not a pin, its a red clown nose that you wear for comic relief)
Stop bullying/cyber bullying

SERVICE MEDALS
Now, this next one may be a long shot, but it could work. This is for the people who have served/serving in the war, or had/has a family member in the war. They would get the medals they earned in real life, in game. They can be worn on the avatar or placed in the condo on a little wooden glass top box.
As per usual people would take advantage of this just to get the medals, well the only way to obtain them is to send an email requesting one (a questionnaire sheet maybe). They would need to give appropriate information, (rank, battalion, service number, ect) Close friends and family members can request the medals as well, they just need to give the correct information needed.
(If this came across as rude I honestly didn’t mean to offend anyone)
I feel like having real life pins included will help the game feel more alive, it would help spread awareness for many different organization.
I hope this is possible to do, it would be awesome if the Super great devs can do it!
