Physical Keyboard to MIDI In-Game

Howdy everyone,

Just got a MIDI cable that connects from my physical piano keyboard to my computer. How would I go about being able to play on it and convert it in-game? Does anyone know what kind of software I have to install and how to set it up? Thanks in advance.

Is this preemptively asking before trying or does it not appear in game? It should be plug-and-play as long as you connected it before launching the game–no extra software required.
