Objects representing countries

For english, thanks google translation:
Hello world, I thought it would be cool to have an object for each country, for example:
Mexico: the sombrero and the tacos
Belgium: French fries and beer (quality)
France: the baguette and the beret
English: tea and pudding
America: a hamburger and an eagles
Germany: the sausage
ect… ect…

ect…ect…

I am completely unsure on how controversial such an addition would be. Probably very.

Saudi Arabia: a woman

Not all «Stereotypes» are strictly bad, for example, having Portugal be represented by a ‘Galo de Barcelos’ (which is a common tourist item here) would be more of an honor than something negative.

Really depends on what items are added. If the items would be more of a cultural/symbolic piece of each country I think it would be fine, but just highlighting the negative aspects of the stereotypes wouldn’t be pretty indeed.

For english, thanks google translation:
In the objects I have written as an example, I do not see any negative stereotype for countries, for my part I am French, and the bread wand and the beret are part of our symbols.
Same for Belgium, I just have a 30 minute drive to go and Belgium is known for these high quality fries and beers.

I am not an expert for other countries, and these are just examples, not to be taken with what I want to see necessarily in the game.

Sure, how offensive it is entirely depends on what we add to symbolize the country. I just imagined people complaining that it is “THE RACIST” and “THE OFFENSIVES” just because items represent countries, but that is a different thing.

For example, having hamburgers represent the US could make people think that we are associating americans with their fast food and obesity stereotype.

Also if Germany gets its own “national items” in this game, then it would be a crime to leave out pretzels, don’t forget that please
