What do you think about the idea of buying and placing NPCs in your condos? They wouldn’t really do anything except very basic animations that you can assign for them to execute. Or perhaps you can give them dialogues to say like the NPCs in the shops.
I would be down for condo NPC’s IF they had a purpose. Later down the line when community condos come out, I hope there’d be some sort of functionality for them. Even if it’s as simple as setting custom dialogue or gestures as map guides. Ultimately I wish we’d be able to set them as actual shops since community condos will be their own communities with their own custom content, granted workshop is finished.

As long as we dont have to manually write the code lines that the NPCs will use then im all for it, would be nice to have something other than catsacks inhabiting my condo.

AND MAYBE ALSO YOU CAN PUT CLOTHES AND HATS AND STUFF ON THEM

At this point in time giving the condo NPCs the ability to sell stuff might be a bit extreme.
Maybe further down the line they could allow them to sell small items that can only be gotten from a condo npc, like a painting of the map said npc was placed in (the ones you see in the tower lobby), or signs saying stuff like “Home sweet home” (or some variation of it).
Or perhaps clothing items like a hat or t-shirt that says “I love NPCs”.
Well or you could make them do stuff like executing emotes or executing pre-programmed conversations between each other.
Hmm… I can’t really think of a scenario I’d personally use NPCs for in my condo, but it’s an interesting idea. Have my vote.
I’d love seeing some basic scripting/coding functions if condo NPCs were added. I can see some builders taking major advantage of such functions.
It seems a bit weird to just buy a guy from the store, though. Maybe they’re androids or something? Yeah, let’s go with that…

If they were to add this we could have a recruitment/temp agency where you go to hire workers as a less weird way of handling it :>

Well or we could make them look like robots, that way no one can complain about it possibly being slavery or them being indentured servants, that and making them robots could allow us to make them do alot more awesome stuff, like one of them taking off one of their own limbs and slapping another robot with it.

If not to atleast have them to place at an entrance with a custom dialogue box to greet guests, that’d be cool to me.
