Game Mechanics cannot be copyrighted. Virtual Worlds is a genera that has existed for a long time now.

They are PS Home developers. Weāve known about the game for awhile. They have microtransactions up the ass, so if thatās your thing, go for it.
It is very different from Tower Unite, but there are some similarities.

Unless I missed something, Iām not aware of them ever having said thereād be microtransactions. Either way, Iām still really looking forward to it. Looks like it has the potential to become the new PS Home. Still really wish you guys would release on consoles. Would love to play TU on my PS4.

Ah, I hadnāt read too much of the Kickstarter and didnāt even know they had Early Access info up yet. Not entirely shocking, though. They were big on microtransactions in their PS Home spaces. Iām totally fine with cosmetic microtransactions but I really donāt like how it says that several of the mini-games will require you to buy Atomz. But hell, I spent hundreds of dollars in PS Home and Iāll probably end up doing the same in Atom Universe. After playing the demo a few months ago, I really liked it and canāt wait until it comes out.

From what I saw the PS Home main mingling area and the Atom Universe mingling area were pretty small and boring
Atom universe is probably the most rip off f2p game on steam, its going to be JUST like PS Home, filled with LOADS of microtransactions, they will probably even pull a GTA5 and have a thing where you can buy virtual money. Just another money hungry company ripping ppl off. So glad TU will have absolutely NO MICROTRANSACTIONS AT ALL! Honestly I probably wouldnāt have backed during the kickstarter and the inidiegogo if TU had microtransactionsā¦
Honestly, the best thing that game has going for it is aesthetic. My favorite movie to watch purely for the visuals is TRON Legacy, which uses a very similar design aesthetic, although it predates Atom Universe. I like the dark world lit by neon, but thatās really it.
From what I can see, that game is too condensed. TU is at least spread out a bit, theyāve got a Ferris Wheel in the middle of their plaza!

Yeah thatās what I was referring to when I said,āits going to be JUST like PS Homeā, (because itās the same devs who made PS Home lol. I really hate games with micro-transactions, I feel like that ruins the whole game. You should be playing the game to earn IN-GAME items, not paying for the shit 
Thatās only partly true. The main PS Home spaces were made by Sony, but Sony worked with many other third party developers to create other spaces. Atom Republic (the creators of Atom Universe) were just one of many developers to produce content for PS Home. PS Home as a whole though, was developed by Sony.

Really one of the only things that holds me off from most VW games is the absurd amount of microtransactions they tend to have. Thats why Iām so excited for Tower Unite.
The theme of their game will only attract a certain audience. Where as Towerās theme is just normal and can attract everyone.
and the gameworlds are multi-themed so yeah, it can please everyone :3
Atom Universe looks fun to me. Just because its a competitor, doesnāt mean Iām not allowed to like both TU and other virtual worlds ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
