As you know, I use these a LOT, and while music is one of the biggest things people use on the screens, it’s poorly represented in the Physical Media Tape options. The only real option is the disc. Here’s some suggestions, plus other notes for Physical Media Tapes.
EXISTING MODELS:
DISC (Variant 4):
As you can see, when placed beside a DVD case, which is to scale properly, the disc is obviously way too large to be a CD or DVD, but could possibly be a small record, though records don’t have art across the whole disc face, only the center circle area.
My suggestion would be to split this disc into 2 variants: A smaller one the same width as the existing DVD case above, and a larger record version that’s black throughout and a canvas area in the middle around the spindle hole.

RAW VHS TAPE (Variant 2):
The RAW VHS is slightly larger than it’s boxed version. Not a big thing, I literally just noticed that while making this post. However…
The tape sits backwards on a Media Shelf, with the tape side facing out instead of the spine.
Also, the raw tape could use a spine label. I don’t really use them but I’m sure others would like it.

NO SCALING:
I’m sure you’re aware, but the Media Shelf doesn’t allow the tapes on it to be scaled. Which is fine, and I get why it would reset them, but I was trying to make the DVD into a CD size. This tactic works on manually placed respawn tapes.

NEW ITEMS REQUEST
CD CASE
This brings me to the lack of music variants. I’d like to see a CD version similar to the existing CD case decoration item. All we have is the raw discs mentioned above, and they look dumb on media shelves.
Of course a 1:1 item port wouldn’t be ideal, as the current decoration has no spine art. A physical version would need a spine art section like the DVDs have, so it could sit neatly on a media shelf. It doesn’t even need a back, just a cover art, that black strip on the left, and a spine, you can leave the back of it black.
Also note that like the disc variant above, these 2 decoration items are also too large of a scale.

Self explanatory, how are these not in game already? Case and tape variants, case at the very least.

CD Towers
Note: Assuming the size of the CD disc and case are lowered and you actually add the requested CD case above.
These would be brand new items, NON-Scalable and sized specifically for the new CD case variant. A set amount of CD slots would be baked into them similar to the current Media Shelves so you can dial in the spacing and positions for the tapes, as well as set a max amount.

DISC BOOKS
This is a bit more advance, so I can understand if you pass on it. Basically you’d load discs on each page, which people can take out of the book and load on a screen. Pressing use on the left or right side of the book will turn the pages.
They’d lay flat on a surface like an open book.
