Multiple media player channels to save multiple playlists

The introduction of Condo IO and the ability to connect prehipherals (eg. CCTV, LibRetro emulators) to media players as well as the ability to flick between inputs using the Media Remote Control is begging for a further addition:-

The ability to create additional channels on a single media player for distinct playlists.

This would solve the issue of spawning in additional media players for the purpose of saving distinct playlists, and would provide additional immersion by being able to ‘channel surf’ as it were.

I think I remember there being plans to add playlist support to physic-al media, queueing entire playlists with a single cassette, but this sounds interesting.

Storing whole playlists on the Physics-al Media is great by itself but also being able to have fixed/immutable playlists saved on a per media player basis is also desirable, I much prefer doing this as it prevents random condo gatecrashers from shitposting meme videos
