Mover Sequencer (Multiple Movers linked and Optional )

Ive been thinking about this for a few days Ive been thinking a mover “Sequencer” would be a great addition if there was a way to slot movers as motions you could End one path pick up another mover and do its motions then another and another up to say 10 mover motions so its not too complex.

This would allow a sequence of paths and events VS one mover and being limited by the commands of one mover and could fired in a sequence so you could at various parts of the path tweak trajectory of the path (change Tracks or path taken) While also moving arms or attachments after the object stops ect.

Example: My Plane/Car is on a set path The driver or pillot opts to make a left turn instead of a right and thus connects to another mover path stopping the previous one mid path jumping to the next mover

While also moving control surfaces or rolling the windows down or up ect . Lots of things could be done with this.

Basically just like you connect items but essentially daisy chaining movers.

I think this feature alone (the ability to control what and when a mover is connected to something) would provide a way to sequence movers in the manner described.

If they allow us more IO settings, only one would be needed. Just need more options like set move speed, set spin speed, etc. Then you can just use IO on one move to be like “Move from A to B at X speed”, then “Move from B to C at X speed”, etc in your IO schedule. You can already kind of do this, but it needs refining.

Well the reasoning behind several is that it would allow you to set the settings one mover and fully customize to do what you want it to before moving to the next sequence.

One way you could allow this inside of a single mover called “Sequencer” is to have pages like they do in the movers or the relays Page 1 step one In page one A drop down to select mover type. Upon mover type selected open the settings for that mover and allow the options for that mover to be set.

Page 2 Step two Select mover type from drop down, set the settings you would set as if you had opened that mover. ect.

But with this you may as well just instead of having all the movers be in one mover called the sequencer allow the movers individually to be placed like we are then have their pages show but without the drop down to select type and you could just adjust the movers you had already placed from inside the sequencer pages if you needed to change something without having to go to that mover you could just open the sequencer.

I think it would allow more control and be easier to have the sequencer attach to the existing movers than it would be to have a single item sequencer placed and do all the work within the pages of it since it can become somewhat disorienting with the pages and figuring what goes where

Plus if something breaks in the sequencer itself than your entire set up breaks VS just being able to sequence it being broken.

The point of the sequencer is to be able to adjust movers like we currently do but have them play in sequence VS having to use only one mover at a time or attaching a mover to an existing item and then connecting it to a mover path for it to then go haywire. Calling one mover at a time and allowing movements to play in sequence is alot better than being limited to the settings a single mover path or simple mover… when in sequence you could have as many motions happen as you want in the order you want with ability to change paths while the path is being traveled swapping movers as you go.
