The achievement for buying everything from the Ghoulcery is a grueling grind for new players. Other than from fishing and from redeeming remains (both of which are very rare to get coins from) The way you earn Ghoul Coins is through time! Every 6 minutes starting from the start of an hour, you can earn a coin by completing a game that earns you units/tickets! If it shows that popup in the corner of your screen tallying up the units you just earned, You’ll get a coin! (meaning the Casino and selling things does not work.)
The arcade does also work, though.
This means you can get 10 coins an hour. or 240 coins a day! (but more realistically like 80 coins a day for most people that have lives).
I tallied up everything I still needed and ended up with OVER 800 coins needed! So for a new player I think it’s safe to say you need at least 900 coins to get that achievement! That is insane! That is about 90 hours constantly making sure you’re getting a coin every chance you get. That is too much of a grind for a game like this, especially during a timed event.
I am here to posit maybe some other methods of obtaining coins? This is the start of the actual… suggestions.
-
Extra coin from earning a large sum of units during plaza activities.
Say you get like… 2500 or 3000 units from a Minigame or Pool. That could earn you 1 extra coin completely separate from the coin you can get every 6 minutes. -
Special Halloween (or event) cosmetics for games.
To explain. Something like a pumpkin bowling ball or golf ball, or a pumpkin for Ball Race. When you put those on during Halloween, you forfeit the Units you would earn, and in exchange you get a ghoul coin for doing something well! Like getting under par in a hole in golf, getting a strike in bowling, or… getting a certain number of melons in Ball Race outside of the bonus- I don’t play it enough to really know. These coins would again be separate from the timer. -
Quests.
Earn coins from the various quests you complete during Halloween, or from earning the achievements. Perhaps a large sum for each quest? That would be a good boost and even more incentive to do the quests! -
Just have a couple coins hidden around the plaza for people to find?
It would be a one time thing but I think it would be fun! It could even be an event similar to the remains/treasure where 10 coins spawn in random locations for each player in a certain part of the plaza (your choice of where that would be) and they get to search for them! I think that would be cool!
That’s all the suggestions I have, I would be grateful if the devs at least consider any of these, or add some other way to earn coins that I haven’t posted!
