I really have no clue if that would fit under the Question or Suggestion, but I kinda have to speak out about the issue that I have since the Casino update came out.
I feel like the Video Poker is the most underrated machine. Their payout feels wrong and not rewarding what so ever. On a full server, you will see like 1 or 2 people playing the machine for a bit, but that only goes for like 5 minutes until the person heads to a WoM slot.
Regards to the payout, the only thing that seems to be fair are the Jackpot payouts, as they give you almost 50k once you reach a Royal Flush. I am not sure if that’s intentional to play them just for the jackpot, but even the second highest reward can be easily acquired by playing ballrace Nimbus perfectly by yourself.
It sucks because Video Poker is by far one of my favorite games and I still play it on my phone as well.
My suggestion so far:
-possibly increasing the payouts by 3 times. Jack or Better would be for example 15 credits instead of 5 when betting in 5 credits
or
-increasing the chip value from 5 units to 15 units, just like the slots do
I never said that they are suppose to be a money printer. It just feels wrong that these don’t pay out as much then the slot machines do. Unless you happen to get Royal Flush or Straight Flush. You don’t seem to win anything.
That’s why nobody wants to play them. Double or Nothing are most likely money printers if anything.
I don’t know if it’ll be enough, but Ill be revisiting it (even though I still occasionally play it for fun, its not being appreciated enough because it doesn’t vomit Units.)
I use this simple little Chrome plugin called DarkReader. It simply inverts some elements of websites. It works well, and helps with websites that dont have a dark mode. Example: Reddit with and without. Also works very well with YouTube and allllll sorts of other sites. There is an easily usable toggle button and some other settings to tweak each separate site to your liking. Chrome Web Store

i came all the way here just to make an account to tell you i’ve been playing videopoker for no joke like 8 hours straight. i literally only ever make profit when i get jackpot, and at this point, it’s been refusing to give me a royal flush for like 5 of those 8 hours, with it constantly being just barely out of reach. at this rate, i make infinitely more reliable profit LOSING at WoM than i do winning smaller hands regularly on video poker. this is entirely objectively true, as someone who has spent the past week being made miserable by both of these machines.
