Noticed it just now because I mainly use it for Skype calls, but if I try to record stuff with it on Audacity, or use TeamSpeak, or listen to it via the recording device’s properties in Windows, or do anything else that supports or requires a microphone I get this (it’s loud): Link. On the other hand this is how it sounds when I use Skype: Link. I highly doubt Skype has such advanced noice reduction technology. It’s the same microphone using the same settings. What could be causing it? It didn’t used to be like this.
