trying to make sleek sci-fi builds is kinda hard when all the good metal textures are really dark grey and can’t be tinted any brighter to like a white or silver colour. could the texture be made a little lighter…?
Can’t really just make textures that many people are using suddenly different, but having new metal textures would be fine c:
I have found that the metal textures seem to react better to light sources with the “Fill Light” setting enabled. I think the metallic materials are reacting to light in a different way, so they appear a lot darker if only non-fill lights are used.
They also seem to react to the sky volume lighting settings as well.
Allowing the brightness slider to go above the default value would probably fix this, and be pretty useful in general.
