Other than the small amount of acid next to the super weapon pickup, basically any contact with water means you’re probably going to die before reaching land, especially if you fall off the side of the ship that doesn’t have the containers floating in it. It just makes it so it takes way longer to actually get back in the game, especially with something like the dino’s large health pool.
