Make it harder to earn money

Earning money in Tower Unite, in my opinion anyway, is way to easy. Being able to earn 10k-20k a game of Ballrace or the alike, while a decent condo costs around 150k. Or even in casino playing Wheel of Money ,with little to no effort, while gaining alot out of it. I got this game 3 days ago and already got (worth of items and money combined) 1m Units! And it could lead to people losing interest in the game as it’s so easy to get everything so quickly. I’m not saying the ratio of earning and spending money should get reduced significatly to a point where you got to grind for months on end to get the most expensive condo, but at least a reasonable change or another way to counter act it wouldn’t be bad.

All the feedback and opinions are welcome.

honestly I play TU mostly for the condo building and the condo hopping, as it is earning units isn’t too bad. I can spend some time in minigames/the plaza and earn enough to build for a good while. the minigames themselves aren’t too fun for me, especially not if you don’t have a group of friends to play with at that moment. If I have to constantly farm as I build that would be a detriment to my personal enjoyment of the game. But that’s just my personal preference and opinion.

Yeah you can earn 10k - 20k in ballrace, if you like idk waste time and collect the melons, I mean have you seen how much furniture or fishing bait cost if you get like 100 bait? Over 20k. There is no need to make getting money harder or nobody will play the game lol.

Having units too easy to earn isn’t an issue, I think it alleviates your concern of people losing interest in the game. Instead of thinking “I have too many units” I would say “Give me more uses for units” before “Give me less units”. A proper address to your issue would be to add more repeatable money sink activities (such as fishing bait, arcade tokens, catsacks, etc.) and expensive items to purchase (more expensive condos).

I’ve ranted about this before, but you gotta keep in mind at its core Tower Unite is a pretty casual experience and majority of the game isn’t meant to be approached with a grinding mindset. I do always advocate for more long term goals for players to pursue like the Arcade wowozela though.

The larger condos in the game are relatively inexpensive, but the base condo itself is just a fraction of the actual condo’s cost; you still have to purchase all the items needed to decorate the condo, which also scales up the larger your condo is. Plus, a sizeable portion of the playerbase plays the game mostly for condo building, so there’s no need to unnecessarily bar off that part of the game.

There definitely could be some more money sinks for people who want them (e.g. more higher-priced accessories like the paper crown for showing off), but I feel like the xp system already fills this void in a way (rewarding large amounts of gameplay with exclusive items).
