This map would actually go from my least favorite to one of my favorites if the dragon wasn’t able to sit in one spot, and win. https://plays.tv/s/LfU0clsNh8PT This is a video example of how easy it is for the dragon to sit in one spot and win. Although I get down, like a decent human being, I would of never died, just sitting in one spot and mashing bite.
Now I have a super easy solution to fix this, without changing mechanics, or hitboxes. Add a 2nd floor walkway between all three upper sections. This will make the map flow a little bit better, and stop both the knights and dragon from camping above. https://i.imgur.com/KxeKFwe.jpg < Excuse the bad paint job, but this is what I think is a good walkway that connects all 3 upper floors. I know this will block the light over the grand table, but what is more important? Map flow and balance, or looks and if the lighting makes sense realistically?
The birb can be easily counted. Without having to use anything but bite, it allows the dragon to use roar to only counter the Birb. Even while the birb is being thrown, the dragon can stop it. Pretty much anyone who plays LC a ton knows that the Birb is a joke.
It’s not just the camping spot that makes me suggest this change. It would open up the top sections, as this is the smallest LC map by far, and the most closed in as well. Compared to the other maps, that have height platforms all over the place, that give you multiple options where you can go almost always, Throne Room is very linier, once you walk up a staircase, you can only go up that staircase. Sure at the top you can jump down, but the only thing you can do is jump down. that or another narrow staircase back down. This would eliminate that, as you would be able to walk around the top sections freely. The dragon can already fly up to the top part without trouble, so there isnt a issue there.
What i thought would be a fix for this that would change the map though would be to have the balcony break off if the dragon is on it for too long as i imagine the dragon is pretty heavy because IT CAN FLATTEN ARMOR LIKE A PANCAKE. plus it would be an interesting feature but require a bit of map revisit work to make it.
