Launching the game as "Player" w/ no Units, Can't Create Servers/Launch Maps

I downloaded the latest “nightly” build of the game, and ran TowerServer.exe for the dedicated server. Ever since then, I’ve been loaded into the game as “Player” with no Units. Whenever I click “create” in the server settings for any gamemode, it does absolutely nothing. I selected the map, so that’s not the problem. Same thing with the Lobby, Condo, and Item Playground, I can’t load into any of them.

This happened to me once last night before the new build of the game, but a simple restart of the game fixed it. Today, I’ve tried restarting my computer, verifying the game cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and I’m still stuck as “Player” everytime I launch Tower Unite.

Are you running the server on the same computer as the one you’re using to play the game. If so, it won’t work. Says in the update notes.

I just did the same thing and I’m not sure how to get out of it now, unless I have to remove all server files?

Go into task manager and end the processes Tower and TowerServer.That’s what I did to get my game back to normal.
