At a glance, it can be difficult to discern the direction of gizmo arrows because they only appear as a flat color silhouette. Sometimes, specifically in relative mode, I’ll accidentally grab the wrong arrow because I think it’s going in a different direction than it actually is.
My suggestion would be to darken the bottom side of the cone that makes the tip. That way your brain can determine the direction of the arrow much easier.
