I just learned IIRC means If I recall correctly, and not “In IRC”. Major facepalm.
And I figured out that “btw” means “by the way” on my own, yaaaaaaay.
The latest shortcut I learned is “FYI” which means “For Your Interest”.
Did you know that in the medical world LOL “identifies a patient as a Little Old Lady”?

And did you know that “retard”, “idiot”, “imbecile” and “moron” used to be medical terms? Retard described a person that had physical or mental disortions, and idiot, imbecile and moron would describe someone’s IQ level, where idiot meant 0-20, imbecile 20-40 and moron 40-60.
