People like me, love to communicate with others within our condos. When I’m using local chat within a condo, other players will remain unaware of this until I inform them. This usually ends up with the other player communicating in global chat and having somebody from plaza respond all confused. The idea behind this suggestion is that players have some sort of identifier that allows others to know when one is using local chat. Perhaps having a tag that says “local” next to the username that is local chatting or something of the sort.

Would be nice if you could see in which condo you are as well.
That is going to happen in future updates. 
Labeling local chat is definitely a thing we plan to do.
