so i’ve been sat here, pressing spacebar for 11 hours straight, i even streamed around six hours of it, although only an hour got uploaded to twitch.( https://www.twitch.tv/videos/125786810 ), i never got the jackpot and I ended up leaving in the end, i’d given up. it was too much.
here’s the story from start to finish
THE FIRST HOUR
The first hour was pretty easy, my friends were on, I could talk to them, we just talked about random stuff for a while until conversation ran dry.
THE SECOND HOUR
Since conversation ran dry, i thought that maybe we should play a few games of 20 questions, it was fun while it lasted until it also got old.
THE THIRD HOUR
A few of my friends left, but i still had two more. It was pretty awkward, since one of us doesn’t own tower unite but we talked for a while.
THE FOURTH OUR
My friend got the jackpot on his machine and won 560k. I was so angry. I’d been stuck at my machine with a 48k jackpot, watching people around me win mass amounts of cash.
THE FIFTH HOUR
Both my friends ended up leaving, and that’s when I decided to start streaming so that maybe chat could keep me company, although not many people came to watch.
THE SIXTH HOUR
I went around my room and found different objects to press space with, one of my friends had joined the discord for a bit on his phone and so we were coming up with luck strats, none of which actually worked.
THE SEVENTH HOUR
My friend had to leave, and I was on my own. I was getting tired of my surroundings so I decided to get up and turn off my main light. I was growing tired, browsing through dumb memes on my phone and looking for anything I could do to not be bored.
THE EIGHTH HOUR
Very bland. Nothing really happened. I was up at around 56k at this point, just pressing space over and over again.
THE NINTH HOUR
I’d rushed downstairs to get a glass of water, I was so fast to do so that I was out of breath for a few minutes (or it’s because i’m extremely unhealthy). I also went to go and get some mints because I wanted my breathing to taste different so I wouldn’t get bored of it.
THE TENTH HOUR
This is when I started to realise I was getting nowhere. I started feeling uninspired to continue, and so I decided to have some fun. I put some crazy effects on the stream for fun, just turned up the saturation a bunch and added a scrolling filter on the game, I found it hilarious. Until my game crashed. I was terrified, what was I going to do?? Luckily, I had somebody on the server who I had made friends with, he was gambling alongside me. I asked him to take my seat if my game crashed or I randomly disconnected, and luckily he was a nice guy. I opened the game back up again and the server I was on wasn’t showing up. Waiting around 6 minutes the server came back up and I was so relieved to finally sit back in that shiny red seat and to be pulling that lever again.
THE ELEVENTH HOUR
I’d had enough. It’s 7am at this point. I wish I could’ve carried on but I decided to end it where it was. Whoever it was that got the 67k jackpot machine, lucky you, congrats.
