When attempting to hide/unhide a set of objects that are all grouped together you still need to add every single object individually to the Connections tab. It would be much more convenient if adding just one object from the group would apply the hide/unhide parameters to every other object it’s grouped to.
This is how a lot of other I/O-related things handle groups, like mover modules will move the entire group, so I don’t see why hiding/unhiding doesn’t do the same.
I would like to throw in my two cents here. There are some cases where I would need to hide an individual item out of a group of moved items, so adding this feature would break this functionality.
Personally, if I need to hide/unhide a group of items, I just use a relayToAll and connect it to every item, then just hide/unhide the relayToAll to hide all of the grouped items.
2 seperate buttons/inputs which are hide object (depends on which one is actively being edited) and hide group (hides the group the object is attached to)
