I remember Mac saying in one of the bi-weekly dev streams that the gameworld ports took place inside the giant ball above the gameworlds building. And to get inside it you need to ride an air tube, similar to the ones used at banks. Which sounds awesome. However with that idea, it bugged me that the gameworld ports area had a rectangle shape, so I thought. Why not modify the place to be close enough to a circle, like a decagon?
I even made a simple map, each wall of the shape is the gameworlds port, and there’s 10 of them. Enough for all 10 gameworld ports. (The current build hosts 10 gamewolrd ports.)
-The green circle is the entrance, players fly in from here.
-The blue circles are exit #1, players drop down from here.
-The red circles are exit #2, players drop down from here.
The same color exits have the same color because they both share the same exits. In the entrance to the gameworlds, there’s 3 small roads. One to the left, forward, and right. Currently left and right aren’t used for anything. So instead I thought they can serve as exits. Players entering one of these exits will be dropped in one of the two sides depending on which colored / sided exit they chose.
