Game World Suggestion Megathread

None of that really addresses what I pointed out. The passive-aggressive way you said that the devs don’t want us to have freedom. Despite the fact that, Condo I/O, Workshop Condos, Workshop Player Models, and most recently Workshop Gameworld Maps, all exist in the game specifically to give us the freedom to create our own content. Hell, even with just the condo building materials, I’ve seen people make some crazy stuff. This game is all about the freedom to play your way, so to think they wouldn’t want even more of that is kinda crazy.

And none of what you just listed matters that much in the end. A game like Tower Unite will eventually die out, because it doesn’t have enough content variety provided for or made by the players themselves for it’s core gameplay parts (eg. Game Worlds but Condos and even Lobby map and activities included within count towards that as well) to guarantee longevity in the long run. After 1.0 releases, it will only be a slow, natural way downhill until the game eventually, inevitably dies out with time, especially as games better than and offering more than Tower Unite might be developed. Check out this response of mine to Aman for all the explanations you might ever need and for how this adds more context to the way I have been reacting earlier: Game World Suggestion Megathread - #17 by DragonLord_PL. What and how I said about developers not wanting us to have that kind of freedom earlier was before Mac added their answer to this thread, which cleared many things out, so by this point, I’m no longer (nor was I really ever) obligated to answer a question like yours. If you are unwilling to or are uncapable of rereading the full thread on your own and getting the answers to your questions you want so bad from that, I’m no longer interested in interacting with you any further past this point.

I mean…every game dies out eventually. When’s the last time you heard anyone talking about Tribes 1? No need to be an ass about it. If you like the game, play it. If you don’t, then don’t. I really don’t understand what point you’re trying to make here. Like…seriously. I’m confused. You threw shade at the devs for seemingly no reason, I (mostly jokingly) called you out on it, and now you’re just ranting about how games die. Like…what is even happening right now? Is there some massive miscommunication happening between us or something?

I’m pretty sure you know that games dying out isn’t a good thing though (especially for titles like Tower Unite), even if it’s natural. And no, not really every game dies. Most do, but many don’t as well. This is completely false when you see many examples of games still alive, at least to a degree today, even some historical ones. They are easy to find, so please, stop spreading false information out in the public. For all that I was trying to communicate and my points there, I made them clear enough throughout my posts - If you still fail to see what I have been trying to say, I’m not going to bother attempting any further explanations. This last response from you simply proves to me there would be no point in trying. Not only that, you keep trying to stick to a question of yours I have not been interested in answering since the very beginning (I still fail to see how it is any of your interest to ask a question like “Who hurt you?”, rather than doing something else in your free time) - So, as I have indicated at the end of my last post, interaction between us is done and from now on, you will be ignored and muted.

Like I said in my last post, it was intended to be a joke. I truly didn’t think you’d take it so seriously and I’m sorry for that. Also, I should’ve been more specific and said “all multiplayer games eventually die”. Yes, there are plenty older ones that are still active but that won’t last forever. They all will eventually die at some point. Whether that be because the servers shut down or because people finally lose interest.
