When pressing āEā on cabinets, they should open up. They should also be able to store items and such.

There is no need for inventory storage in any shape of form other than your personal inventory.

I have to agree with mets11rap, functional cabinets not only adds more detail, but they can be used to store items, too. You said that the inventory is all we need for storage; and your right, but it would cool to add some secrets or to make a hangout for people that have the tiny potion. Either way, I kinda like the idea.
