Hi there, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted but I’d like to address a few misc changes & fixes for Highrise.
Uneditable Surfaces
This small wall section by the 2F Hallway has never been editable. It’s easily fixed by slapping a canvas wall over it, but it could still benefit from being fixed. Additionally, the round wall pillar opposite from this wall is also uneditable, making it the only such pillar that can’t be edited. This pillar exists on both the 1F and 2F hallways.
Pool Lights
Unlike other light sources in Highrise, the lights for the pool cannot be edited, and come on automatically when it’s night time. If one builds over the pool to turn the space into something else, this leads to the pool lighting bleeding into the space. Please make this light source editable so it can be disabled (and so its other properties can be changed for those who do like using the pool).
Basement Light Fixtures
The Highrise basement possesses a bunch of square light fixtures on its ceiling. Unlike other light fixtures in the condo, these cannot be hidden, and still appear to glow even when disabled. It would be nice if these models could be disabled like other map-based light fixtures. Also as of the most recent updates the textures on them appear to be messed up, unsure how or why that happened but that would need fixing, too.
Exterior Handrails/Borders
The rooftops of Highrise have a lot of metal & glass handrails. While these are nice, sometimes custom solutions look better for others, or they get in the way of custom builds. It would be nice if these could be disabled like other map-based objects. This could possibly include the brick railing that borders the lower portion of the rooftop as well.
Highrise is my most-decorated and well-used condo so these changes would go a long way towards making the condo even more customizable and enjoyable
