If you hold a movement key as you use an arcade machine, you fall off the stool, making it hard to play.
Can confirm. There’s about half a second where holding movement keys and starting to play a machine let’s you walk off the stool.

Haven’t fallen off of a stool, but I believe that. I reported stool misalignment during the beta so this seems like the extreme of that.
