dang! I don’t think they are building a nightclub just to play music. we can do it in our condos. (even tho it’s not fun when you can’t play music with ur friends synchronized because of latency between players) and nightclubs are not for making music hello… It’s not a jamming studio it’s a dance hall. so why not couple dance?
because you can just do that together in game already as is?

I believe nightclub has better purposes than this idea. But you can keep it up this way

You submit music and a dance floor turns on. You can also buy drinks and be drunk. There’s no drums or pianos involved.

Man you really are one toxic person, someone disagrees with your suggestion you go super defensive and start acting like a passive agressive asshole.
For the most part people don’t want these types of animations in the game, because in general it feels a bit to close to second life, and how much of a cringefest that game becomes. I don’t mind syncornized dance animations, similar to some of the taunts in TF2 that require two people to start, but having it go into a more romantic area just doesn’t feel right. Don’t tell me that’s not what you’ve implied in this thread, because it’s exactly what you’ve said several times.
also considering the differing ages of people playing this game, you run into some very awkward territory, which may or may not have legal repercussions in the future, depending on what could happen.
Just because people don’t like your idea doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world, or that we’re being babies about it, it just means the majority disagree, and dealing with it like you have doesn’t help anyone.

Emotes are definitely gonna be a thing. I don’t know how far we will go with them. At this time I can’t see us doing couple emotes unless there is demand.
We aren’t trying to be second life. I have been pretty vocal about disliking second life. Our game isn’t a true virtual world game. It’s really about playing games with different genres. We are in the middle of making all the games, though. The social aspect happens naturally and we provide tools to engage, but don’t force them.
Think of Tower Unite like a big real life arcade or theme park. Providing fun in a ceneralized place.

Good job for reminding me my ex you scrubs </3. Anyways this would be really good for long distance relationships as those relationships are really hard to be connected and stay romantic and with just texting and skyping it gets boring after awhile especially if you have a year long relationship like me, Your partner starts getting bored and not interested anymore stuff like this can “keep” the spark alive. But i don’t agree adding it on Tower Unite i know some of you might like me and some of you not because of my opinion but the truth is that its not fitting for this game, The game is made to be for fun and with friends and with positive vibes not romantic ones. There is many online free multiplayer games that are good for couples. What i am saying is that i don’t think that those “Emoty Animations” fit with the style Tower Unite goes i would prefer more high fives or even belly bumps.

Thank You!. I’m 26 and been with my girlfriend for 7 years, but apparently I’m one of those new generation guys that has no girlfriend, so I’m jealous of couples in video games (OK then?)
I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking romantic gesturing is not something this game should have. I feel that a small change like that will drastically change community interaction and i don’t think it would be a good change.
