Does the rave ball still emit light?

I recently purchased the rave ball for my condo but the ball doesn’t emit any light as the decription says it does. The music plays just find but other than that it does nothing.

It should emit light, though I’ve heard it only works on SoundCloud links, not Youtube links (might work with direct links, dunno). Also, if you put the rave ball too close to a wall, it might emit the light into the room next to it, not the room it’s in.
