I find the ambient light pretty annoying inside the theater rooms, especially the very bright iron railings and the walls. It would be nice if the lights dimmed during a video, perhaps leaving a few lights on the stairs like in real theaters so people could still find their way in/out easily.
Additionally, it’d be nice if we could also dim / turn off most of the HUD when a video is active, especially the open media queue prompt and the minigame joining pop-ups, since they cover the video when you’re in the front seats.
Bumping this. Logistically, every movie theater I’ve ever been in turned the lights off when the movie started. Why isn’t this the default behavior here? It feels backwards walking into a dim theater, not being able to figure out where your (metaphorical) seat is, only for the (metaphorical) movie to start and the entire place is bright; it takes the focus away from the screen! I’m just surprised it’s still like this after all these years.
It’d be definitely neat to have this as an option!! maybe a button in the movie reel room with the movie projector? Or a switch to dim the lights in smaller rooms = v = (my bad if it exists already, haha)
