I know it’s just a bug with Discourse’s latest update, but happy third anniversary to everybody! 
The badge was updated to give you multiple per year (instead of just one, see https://meta.discourse.org/t/i-just-received-two-anniversary-badge-notifications/61794/7), so it dished out the awards to everyone. Which then also slowed down the entire website as it pinged everyone.
