In my efforts of trying to have different ground types it becomes super difficult to texture curved surfaces and make things like paths. I have to go and make or find a dirt texture to make a dirt path, so having a world align-able decal of the standard surface textures would really do the game a huge service.
I would absolutely love this, great suggestion!
I’d love to see all of the Textures available for anything that allows a Canvas Input actually.

Honestly it’s such a difficult thing just making a dirt road on anything other than flat ground that it blows my mind only one item wraps surfaces like the decal. the only complaint I even have about it is that I can’t put flowers on it without it covering them too, even though it’s under the item. Even when you adjust the parameters you can minimize this, but still annoying.

I feel your pain, I often use Canvas Snow Piles, Canvas Doormat, Canvas Holes with like 0.01 height, anything I can use to emulate a path.
