Friends, it is with profound joy and excitement that I hastily attempt to scrawl this bulletin before you now, for (what else?) the occasion has really arrived at long last. Following sporadic contemporary reunion appearances, legions of prior solo shows which served to cement their impact, and (more recently) the lengthy droughts between new events, it is finally high time to make the post.
I am, of course, referring to
The deca*Drumm: Celebrating Ten Years of Drumm topic.
Yes, Drumm is back in 2026: bigger, better, more banging than ever and with company; to help facilitate their return, the band has taken up residency at the newly inaugurated Di Marianas Megapalacio venue, which will be the premier destination for future shows including back-to-back sets with featured guests. The magical new performance site features a balcony, an open-floor design, dual theater space, lounge spots, and more.
My intent is to play several shows here throughout next year, beginning with a New Year’s Eve performance to send the current one off.
When?
I am currently planning to host the first stress test on December 27 at 7 p.m. PST; after that, the NYE party proper will ideally commence at the same time on December 31st, with a duplicate “re-run” show scheduled for Friday, January 2, 2026 (more details to be announced as showtime nears).
It’s official: the New Year’s Eve show, formally marking Drumm’s electric return to performance, is scheduled for
2025 December 31 @ 7:30 p.m. PST
(door open at 7:00 p.m.; ditto the repeat show on 2026 January 2)
Thank you to everyone who has stuck around since those earliest basement concerts (I know there are a few of you); I still find myself flattered by the legacy I appear to have helped leave behind despite my subsequent absence.
Hope to see you all at a show!
