The title of the suggestion is pretty simple and should be mostly self-explanatory, but I will still repeat the suggestion from the title here. As work on I/O systems for the overall game and SDK tools for creation of custom maps in all the current Game Worlds is slowly continued, promising a very bright future for keeping the Game Worlds (along with Condos) alive in Tower, the upcoming Minigolf SDK tools seem the most depressing of all, at least in comparison to what the SDK tools for other Game Worlds will ultimately end up allowing for, once they are fully released. The biggest offender, limiting the potential of Minigolf custom map creation for quite the foreseeable future so far, is that we are only going to be able to use all of the track/path/course pieces and their variants provided by the developers to make our maps. While the amount and variety of these pieces is certainly impressive, the very nature of not being able to make and use our own pieces for our maps makes the whole set of SDK tools overall very limiting, even with the inclusion of I/O systems in the maps for those that are gonna be including these in their creations. My suggestion here is for this to change - What I would like to propose is that we get an SDK, Minigolf exclusive map creation item like “Workshop Track Piece”, which would use the current Steam workshop system that is already being used for custom Condo workshop items and custom player models, to allow people to make and upload their own track pieces for use in the maps. While there is a pretty huge potential for this to cause performance issues for both servers and clients, I think it is a thing still worth considering, for Minigolf to last even longer. What do you guys think?
Well, the Minigolf editor isn’t out yet but the track pieces are designed to make it easier to create your own Minigolf course. There’s also the game objects such as the pirate cannon and pipes.
We plan to have a tutorial page on how to create courses using these pieces.
You can still use any other item, canvas primitives or even Workshop models to create your Minigolf courses. But it’ll be a lot more work for the level creator.
You can use pretty much every IO module and volume with the exception of the volumes that only work for players (size volume, etc). Everything else you can use when making your own Minigolf map.

Understandable. That still works pretty well then, thank you.
