In condos, it would be really neat to have some way to change and add new locations, particularly for maps like Smooth Dirt. If you would be able to edit existing location names, or add a placeable volume to update a player’s location in their HUD and the player list while they are inside it, that would be great for large builds with multiple areas. For instance, instead of 99% of the Smooth Dirt map saying “Dirt” (like so)
you could have cubes of volumes that say something like “Floor 14 (Nightclub)” or “Outdoors” or “Secret Hell Hallway” for instance.
Yeah I was just thinking of this as well. I think the best option would be to add an override cube that overrides the built-in location volumes.
I’m planning on making a location label volume that handles this, and options to rename existing locations.
