Why not adding the country flag of each players to scoreboard or in chatbox, or even in player’s status bar ?

This would be a nice thing to add. Although it should be optional, if someone doesn’t want to reveal where they live.
On top of this, to make it seamless and prevent possible trolling, it could be bound, so that it will use the country that the user has set on their steam profile rather than giving an in game option.

Yup, i forgot to mention it. 
Speaking of the scoreboard and chatbox, I wonder when they will get a big upgrade? The country flags idea seems like a genuinely great idea, but the current scoreboard and chatbox don’t offer enough room for displaying those.
Hopefully they get an upgrade soon (and perhaps look similar to those from GMT) so features like this can be considered!
Or we could use geoip? Not sure how difficult that is to set up and get working, but showing the country you have set on your steam profile is super inaccurate. I like to set my country to my originating one or to other random stuff, not to my actual country, just a note that many people use it for random stuff. Steam country is used for trolling just as much as in-game option could be.
So best option would be geoip, unless that is too much of a hassle to get running, then give us an in-game option independent from Steam.
