CounterClockwise Spin

With the current Reverse Spin its not actually Counter Clockwise Spin so when you reverse Spin its going to reverse only once in that opposite direction before it turns back in the same direction as normal Spin.

CounterClockwise Spin would simply be ONLY SPIN COUNTERCLOCKWISE

So if you activate Spin and call counter Clockwise and then you want to go back Spin you hit spin if you want to go back to Counterclockwise you hit Counter Clockwise
So that youre not going back in the direction of Clockwise when the Spin is activated again on that same button.

THIS WAY WHEN USED ON SOMETHING YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY HAVE A REAL LEFT BUTTON AND RIGHT BUTTON FOR with ability to set the Spin rate and approach Spin you could smoothly turn to the left and smoothly turn to the right without having to toggle on and off the ability to go back to the left which is REVERSE SPIN currently.

Counter Clockwise would literally the Spin Command but in the LEFT direction.
with the same customization ability to set the Spin Rate and Set the Approach Spin Rate like Spin has.

Then we will have a literal Spin left and spin right on the same object without need to call Reverse Spin and end up toggling the ability to go LEFT.

We really need this BADLY. Its the easiest and most straight forward way to allow turning without snap turns or toggling ability to turn left smoothly like spin allows.

Alternatively you could go in and add set Rotate Rate to all commands and set approach Rotate Rate to all Rotate commands to give us the same controls over those as we have over spin.

Dunno if this would help - setting the spin axis to -1 makes items spin counter-clockwise.

I think Ive tried that before and it didnt seem to properly work.
Definitely would be willing to try it again.

That does make sense when you look at it but when applying its sometimes a totally different story.

For example. This is within the mover itself… So then when you call Spin to spin it in the other direction because its set at -1 itll set that setting when called back to 1.0 and then if you try to call the spin command again on the same button you called the -1 on before when it was still set to -1 in the movers base settings… you will likely find it will not spin -1 without you having to manually reset it to negative 1 again.

SCRATCH THE ABOVE… BECAUSE THERES ONLY ONE COMMAND TO START SPIN AND NO OPTION WITHIN THE BUTTONS DROP DOWN MENU. Its simply “StartSpin.”
Which is going to just spin it with its current Axis Setting in its base. There isnt an option to set the axis through the command SPIN and Startspin command has no axis settings. So the base retains its setting and in order to spin it any other direction you have to use Reverse Spin which goes back to my posts point CounterClockwise Spin needs its own Command.

Now I believe also that it would be greatly beneficial to have Axis Settings in the STARTSPIN command in the drop down menu. To allow CounterWise Spin to be called as a command without it being listed and change spin direction via START SPIN command Im just not sure that it wont also default back to its start position when Start Spin is called again.

I will try it and report back.

Tried it and posted Below.

Just as I suspected but the problem is even more evident when I checked it.

When you place a Mover Controllable. Go into the mover and set it to Spin then set it to -1… It will in fact Spin Counterclockwise.

However when you set up two Condo I/O Buttons and connect them immediately you see the problem. There is only one command to start that spin regardless of the setting in the mover bases Axis of Negative or Positive.

“Start Spin”

There is no ability to select SPIN and then Set the Axis to 1.0 or even negative one within the Buttons Command menu of the drop down list for the mover.
This is also true for not only the Mover Controllable but also the Simple mover.

So you can either Spin and start spin clockwise or you can Set Spin Axis to -1 and start Spin Counter Clockwise however you can not make it spin back clockwise unless you use REVERSE SPIN because if you simply hit the button and use the command STARTSPIN itll just continue spinning in the direction set inside of the movers base AXIS Setting.

So Counter Clockwise Spin must have its own command OR… you can add the ability to select “SPIN” in the menu with the addition AXIS options to choose its -1 spin so that the button retains its counterclockwise spin ability and then maybe only then would Start spin also just start SPIN in whatever direction you have that buttons Drop down SPIN Command axis set to.

So currently this Counterclockwise Spin Command is a must to achieve LEFT Spin
on command while also having ability to Right Spin without using the Reverse command which is a toggle of command you cant assign which direction you want to reverse spin in… the command just reverses its current direction.

So if you want to have a mover that can spin to the left and spin to the right currently… with single pushes of a button YOU CAN ONLY ONE TIME before the button becomes BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT essentially becoming a Toggle which needs to be pushed twice to go back in the desired direction.

There is no left and right Needle for Spin currently there is only RIGHT and the Reverse spin which will take you back left… BUT IS REVERSE SPIN… So it will only function as LEFT every other time its pressed and not every time its pressed like Counter Clockwise Spin would.

So if you wanted to start with a LEFT TURN. You could then you hit Spin which will turn you right. But because that first TURN was made with a REVERSE CALL… When you hit left again to come back away from RIGHT… Youre going to go RIGHT AGAIN.
OR… you have to be left with using then only one button to toggle through LEFT AND RIGHT To turn… Its bad when youre trying to fly something its just ridiculous because the first button press is still acknowledged so it looks like youre moving your rudder the opposition direction you should have been BEFORE TURNING IN THE DIRECTION YOU WANT TO GO.
