Is there a specific reason why this built in secret area on the suite condo is enclosed this way, is it more optimal to have overlap on modules, If I build one of these encasement structures for a separated area should I have the collision on or off?
When making an enclosed space having overhangs that clip through each other solely just ensures that there is 0 chance that there are gaps or “void leaks” in the structure, it is a common mapping tactic however is kinda haphazard! The other cheat method to make sure there are no leaks is to have the outside of the box be surronded by a very bright color that isn’t used as any part of the wall and stands out. Traditionally this is done via a skybox and full bright but in the case of TU just make a similar temporary overlapped box like that one and a bright light source can work just as well!
