[Condo I/O] Burnable & Extinguishable Environment Trigger Volume

I requesting a Burnable & Extinguishable Environment Trigger Volume during my condo construction of my forgotten temple since I finish a room with a hedge wall that blocked our way to be burnable by a flamethrower stored in a wooden chest I created in my condo.

Here’s my first example for a burnable environment trigger volume:


This is a hedge wall blocking our way.


This is me burning the hedge wall with my flamethrower.

Another example I wanted to add later in future condo construction is an extinguishable environment trigger volume like a fire wall that blocked our way to the next room that burns us on contact, only to extinguish with a water gun.

This is something I can see being great to have. Hope it gathers more attention!

I’m a little bit disappointed that this isn’t getting more attention. Oh well, not much you can do here. Here’s to hope that maybe developers themselves have seen it at the very least though - This is such an neat, useful little idea, that I would be sad to see it go to waste. I guess we will just have to wait and see then.

Or add damage type options to the Target Volume.

I feel like adding a completely new volume for something like this makes little sense.

True. That’s also an option. Not sure if we will see it in the game, but it’s still something that can be done.

Possible Damage Types:
Melee (includes dragon’s bite, infected attack, ZM zombie attacks)
Bullet
Fire
Water
Projectile (Throwables, Crossbow, Dissector)
Laser

Also: Explosions (grenade launchers, RPGs, TNT, explosive barrels, etc)

This is getting kinda specific but separate damage types for blunt and sharp melee weapons would be kinda interesting too. You could have like, rope or cobwebs that only a sword could cut or a pile of debris that you need a hammer to destroy. It would be so beautiful.
