I go on a server and I just see everyone at the casino and no one playing the minigame’s and I am forced to join really laggy servers to find a game and I have a idea to fix this. there would be casino chip that you have to buy and they cost a lot and you can only buy 10 of them at a time soon as you buy 10 you cant buy anymore for 6 hours or even more time. if you try to buy 5 and then 5 later that 5 more would trigger the timer anyway. so that’s my idea I would be really happy if that was a thing but its just a suggestion so just take it with a grain of salt.
No offense, but this is a terrible idea.
Limiting the casino so much will just cause a lot of the playerbase to quit.
When the gameworlds get updates, people will play those. No need to put in a system like this.

Yeah, no. If people want to play the casino, let them play the casino. People who are in the casino may not want to actually play the game worlds, and limiting access to the casino in that case will just make them not want to play the game. If you want people to join, you could try asking in chat (people in condos might want to play), or you could try the PixelTail Discord.

I think one of the core problems is some people in the casino don’t even seem to want to play the casino games. A lot of them are just grinding for units.
Payouts for the casino need to be lower or payouts for game worlds need to be higher; I think that would help drag more people to the gameworlds.
To play devil’s advocate against myself one other reason why people might favor the casino is that they are bored of the gameworlds. Oftentimes though I see even new players just playing casino nearly exclusively.

[/quote]I have a sneaking suspicion that the casino might be why we now have such a large influx of players from southeast asia (especially Thailand)
Also, all things considered, there’s still not much else to do in the lobby. Typing derby is probably going to be unpopular on concept alone, and trivia needs categories, but neither by themselves are going to be a big pull.
iirc there was always a large southeast Asian playerbase, its just that dedicated official servers more suited to them didn’t come out till the casino update
