Can't connect to steam servers (important)

Hey everyone.

I recently refunded Tower Unite because no matter how hard I tried I could not get the game to connect to steam servers. I really wanted to buy the game again and will have access to my funds in about 3 hours, so if this issue could be looked into instead of someone giving me advice such as “Have you tried turning off your computer and turning it back on” or “Have you checked your internet connection” that would be amazing. I loved GMT and I want to love Tower Unite, please make my dream come true.

Uninstall TU,then look for you’re saved folder in app data.
Then delete it,and re install TU.

See if it works.

Thanks for the idea. As soon as I have access to my funds I will try this. Since you helped me, I’ll help you. “You’re” is for “You are” and your is for something you have

This didn’t work.

I NEED help on this. Like an ACTUAL dev needs to help me!

Just for clarification. Whenever you open the lobby server list it is empty, right? You tried to host a Ballrace/Minigolf etc. game but got a Steam error? If any of the above stated cases are occurring, could you please take Screenshots of your error messages? That should be helpful not just for non devs.

Yes, nothing internet related nor steam related works at all.

Check your windows firewall/antivirus settings, and add an exception for tower unite.

You’ll want Tower-Win64-Shipping.exe not Tower.exe

Sounded very promising and I correctly added it to my firewall, although it didn’t work. I can connect on my other computer at a different house.

If it works for you in a different house, then something must be blocking the connection. I still think your ISP might be blocking the necessary Steam ports, did you ever try opening them?
