There would be a separate room in the casino where you can bet on the outcome of game world matches.
A big screen shows the current game stats or (if possible) a streamed match (similar to horse racing). Before the match starts you can bet on people to win / to lose. The match will be chosen randomly so there´s no way to manipulate the outcome.
Players in a chosen match will be notified that this match is currently streamed in the casino and (for boosting the players) which bets were placed on who with what outcome.
This would finally add a live connection between the plaza and the game world lobbies and (hopefully) boost the games even more.
I´ll add a picture to what I´d imagine it could look like.
Man, I wanted to vote on this but apparently my votes ran out…? This kinda sucks but I do love the suggested idea. Also to whoever moderates the site: Please increase the amount of votes we have, thank you!

But they did though and this was fixed an hour before you sent this message. You need to relog.
I understand, wasn’t aware of the fix. I will try it, so thank you!
Edit: I logged back in, I’m still out of votes. All I can really do is say that I like the suggestion. Not sure what this is all about…
This would be cool, but there’s no guaranteed way to make sure players do not rig the vote.
Nothing says someone couldn’t sit in the casino while a bunch of their friends go play a game world and intentionally rig the game to make sure their buddy in the casino can win. Even if it’s a random lobby selection, there’s still a chance of this sort of thing happening, especially if there aren’t many people playing game worlds at a given time. Notifying the players about bets would also probably be a bad idea. I think notifying them that people are betting on the game’s outcome is a good idea, but it’s not a good idea to say exactly what the bets are (since, for example, someone with a lot of the bets placed on them could intentionally throw the game). Then again, what’s stopping someone from just sitting in the casino and relaying the information about what the bets are to the people currently playing the game world?
This is a really cool idea, but I feel like it wouldn’t be secure enough to prevent cheating from taking place.
I’m not sure if all the examples that you have just listed there could be seen as cheating, rather than regular, harmless fun. For instance, if some people do as you say, and it’s a group of friends, so they like sit in there and one of them goes to specifically win them the game, what’s wrong about it? I would see this as an problem if there were others that were also participating but were not a part of the friend group. Still, your point does make some sense.
Yes, if there are others involved that’s where the issues arise, that was what I meant to say but I may not have communicated it well. If it were just friends goofing off and messing around with bets on each other, then yeah there’s no harm done. What I meant was, that exact same thing happening, but with other people who are not involved with the rigged betting currently taking place.
Sounds interesting! I vote for it. The hardest aspect will be on technical side, to implement the info sharing about the match, or especially video feed
