Baby's First Blender Model

My first ever blender model
It looks like absolute crap haha

I was following a tutorial, but added the chimney myself

Just uploaded to show that even idiots like me can make something that sort of resembles something lol
And blender is free so give it a try :open_mouth:

Better than most of the stuff I’ve done so far. But I usually just did proof of concept stuff and low effort visualization.

Better than what I made on my first time in a 3DModeling software! And I had my Game Studies Professor guiding us :raising_hand:

Yo the first thing I tried to make was an indented die and it was really hard.

Ooo nice, I’m looking forward to leaning more about it

I’m following this guy’s tutorials, they’re super helpful

Looks like you can make your own Unturned clone

Nice. I’ve not made much in the way of 3D models.

Finished all those tutorials  here’s what I ended up with.

And a gif version for the animation I did

With the weird pink liquid lol :stuck_out_tongue:

I like the gloopy liquid. Plus the glass looks like glass, and the metal like metal, which is impressive. I give it :snake: out of 10.

I’m not sure how hard to achieve that is, the Cycles Render Engine is known for exactly this kind of photorealism.

But from a simple house to a Cycles fluid simulation in ~8 hours, not bad. I should get back to reading “Blender for Dummies”…

It’s not too hard  just applying materials to the objects and mixing them with other materials :3

But yeah, the tutorials were rlly good :smiley: don’t think i’m gonna bother with animation though, the rendering takes FOREVER ;-;
