It’s nice in theory, but this is a problem for all indie games. Advertising is really hard, especially with little to no budget. Kind of an easier said than done thing. I’d say the most likely and helpful thing would be to give out keys to streamers and have word of mouth propagate that way.
Not just streamers. Large gaming YouTubers that could also spread the word as they used to in the past would be a nice thing as well. Really, any and all attempts at advertising, even on small scale with small budget are worth it, but content creators and word of mouth is indeed probably the best thing we can do right now.
Tower Unite is eligible for the Labor of Love award, but it likely wouldn’t win due to how small the player base is compared to a lot of the other games that are eligible. I still put my own vote behind Tower even though usually I would’ve voted for No Man’s Sky any other year lol
