Additional accessories for Workshop Editor

Now that Workshop Rig 3.0 is out- I want us to have access to our accessory inventory on Workshop Editor and be able to test other things like animal ears, flower crown, headphones, toast in mouth, red nose, devil tail, and so on!!

It’s hard to get accessories lined up the way you want without testing everything else. Black top hat could be lined up perfectly but space helmet may be too small or too big so that would need additional tweaking.

I plan on uploading new character models in future and having access to all of accessories would make everything easier and quicker. (:

This should have had been a thing even earlier but I would really want it to be a thing at least now. Like they say, better late than never. Although another suggestion to come with this one: I really, REALLY want separate positioning for all individual accessories. There are models on which there is no way to position everything properly or to look good with all of the accessories and it’s painful and sad both at once…

We need this bad.

Also, a way to test out your models and walk around with them before uploading them.

hey, that’s a great idea! I second this as well!! especially when you don’t want unfinished model to be shown in public; having people end up downloading the model with incorrect positions on accessories and it’ll stay that way until they clear cache themselves :')

currently, models doesn’t automatically update whenever model gets updated so having this option would be helpful~ (although it’d be nice if updated models could automatically update hehe)

Including scaling? (up to a certain limit to prevent massive hats which may have the size of the Tower alone in the plaza)
Some models have bigger heads and just positionning may be a bit limiting for these models.

Yeah, that too. I can see where you are coming from with different head sizes, although another thing to note is that other models also simply have differently shaped heads. That’s a thing too.

Aren’t the currently provided animation previews from the game enough to test out the models properly though? I never had much of an problem just using those to figure everything out.

No, there are many times where you notice issues in your model such as gaps or overlapping weights only when moving or crouching or doing certain emotes, which you can’t do in the current Workshop editor.

Never realised that. Thanks for sharing that information.
