Right now, in-game music is the only indicator of things like when zombies will spawn in ZM, and when a player will become infected in Virus. This is less than ideal, as it makes the start of these game rounds annoying if the music is not available to you for any reason.
Ain’t the point of the suspense before someone gets infected part of the gamemode? The timer is randomized after all and the music is supposed to have people guess or doubt if they want to be close to others or not. Adding a time would ruin the suspense.

yeah i agree with above, i love the silence of everyone and everything before someone gets infected, you can feel the uncertainty of everyone and it gives everything a nice feel.

Virus was designed so you don’t exactly know when the infection begins.
